We made four different flavours of potato cake today - cheese, chive, spring onion and sweetcorn. They were very tasty, and very easy to make.

Week 10

Tomorrow is our open morning when family members can come and have a look at what you have been doing in class. Room 5 will be open from 7.45-8.45. If you have any star shaped cookie cutters, please bring in on Monday or Tuesday. We will be working together to make a Matariki lunch to share on Tuesday. Any size cutters are fine, but we particularly need small cutters. We are continuing with our efforts to break a world record on Monday. If you need to bring anything in for your challenge, please have it ready. There are only 4 days left to get your 10 ticks on the Roll of Honour. Our winners in Week 9 were - Mahaki for solving the Figure it Out, Charlotte was the Boggle champ, Olivia was nominated for Outstanding Student of the week, and finally Kieran and Arron tied for first place on the Roll of Honour. Week 5

Well done to all the Room 5 students who are keeping on task despite the many interruptions going on at the moment. This term is very, very busy and we need to ensure we make the most of the time we have in class. If you have overdue library books, please have a good look for them and bring them in on Monday. We have our regular swimming every day this week. Cricket is again on Thursday so please make sure you have your PE gear. Please make sure you are clear about the organisation for camp. Check out the Totara page for all the information if you have lost the forms you took home. A gear list is in the Room 5 window. CHECK CAREFULLY. We are on camp very soon!! The JPC orientation day is on Friday. All year 6 students have been given information about this. Everyone needs to have made arrangements to travel to JPC. Do you have any used coffee pods? Week 6

Don't forget - there is no school tomorrow. Lots of the Room 5 students had their first Holy Communion this weekend. I hope I have found a photo of everyone. The year 6 students will be having their JPC interviews at St Mary's this week. Our Winners in Week 5: Lea was the Boggle winner, Arron was nominated for Outstanding Student of the Week, Maddy won the Roll of Honour and Mahaki solved the Figure it Out.
